Met him at an art show in Haliburton and had an opportunity to talk with him for a while. Learned so much just in that time. Best I can describe his art is that it feels like breathing. Beautiful paintings.
A massive collection of online scifi and fantasy artists; including me.
A great opportunity to find one of a kind character portraits. As Ellen says, "Taking the Starving out of Artists". You can find me there too.

Resources, Interests and Random Amusements |
Cute. Because they can. HURRAY!
If you're not addicted to Strong Bad's e-mails, well then you should be. Or Trogdor will Burninate you. You and your thatched roof cottage.
Harry Potter Puppetry! This shall never cease to amuse me. *bother*
May I suggest Kenya, Magical Trevor, and the infamous Badgers?
This is a really neat site for getting reference for various insects as well as identifying some really bizarre ones you may come across.
This site has reaquainted me with how to code 3 or 4 times over now. Its good, they know what they're talking about and the interactivity boxes are wonderful -- you can try out your own pages in them even.
• EMG-ZINE -- A wonderful resource for all artists and particularly those with a fantasy bent. It has an amazing collection of articles and tutorials about the art and business of fantasy art. Be sure to search through the archives.
• Haliburton School of the Arts -- Located in cottage country of northern Ontario the Haliburton School of the Arts has a remarable summer program where they offer weeklong and weekend courses covering an immensely diverse range of arts and skills. The environment itself is worth taking advantage of but the courses I've had the opportunity to take so far have been engaging, rewarding, and tremendously useful to me. I highly support what the school is doing with this and only wish these condensed interest classes were similarly available at other campuses.
