Title: Moths [July 2006]
Notes: This first moth my brother spotted stuck in the pool and I ran and grabbed it out. It found the bricks on the side of the house a good spot to dry off and wait out the thunderstorm that came through. With his owl eye spots it really kind of looks like a very fuzzy butterfly.
This second guy is just fuzzy. You can see his face, it reminds me of a lions mane. I've never seen such bizarre fuzz-protrusions off a moth like this one has either. Like Baby Mothra or something. I just wish I could figure out where/what the heck its eyes/antennae are.
