Media: Inked pencil sketch, digital colouring [August 2007]
Notes: I went all out on this background and theres no direct references for it at all. I've decided I very much enjoy colouring rocks, but still get annoyed at trees. Rocks are fun! I'm still in awe myself of how this picture came out as a whole. Pieces just kept coming together and growing more textured as I went along. Its really quite enthralling to watch an environment unfold like this as you work on it. Even if you still have to fight with it at times.
